Why I Coach

Stress, anxiety, depression, shame. These are just a few things people experience when dealing with financial uncertainty. I've lived through it myself. My student loans alone made me feel like I was drowning. I would lie awake in bed crying as I reflected on my debt. I felt defeated and ashamed. A couple of years ago, my husband and I were overjoyed with the news that we were expecting our first child. It was quickly shadowed as we wondered, "How are we going to afford to have this child?". Debt shouldn't be allowed to overrun the joy in our lives.

A few months after learning I was pregnant, my husband approached me with an opportunity to take advantage of financial coaching. I was hesitant at first. I mean, who wants to share their financial dirty laundry with a stranger and get lectured? It took me months to get on board. Eventually I decided that it couldn't hurt or be any worse than what we were currently doing.

Going through financial coaching has forever changed our lives. My relationship with my husband has never been stronger, we have found some financial peace, it's even prompted me to improve my health.

I will never judge or lecture you, because I have made financial mistakes in my life. I have been there. Please let me coach you and guide you to your financial freedom.
